It's my first day, where do I go?

Ask your manager/supervisor or human resources representative. Your manager/supervisor usually requests that you attend the Faculty/Staff Orientation (1of 4 orientations) prior to reporting to work. The Faculty/Staff Orientation takes place at the Welcome Center and usually takes approximately 4 hours. Report to your manager after the Faculty/Staff Orientation.

Where do I park?

You should have received a letter from your manager/supervisor or from Human Resources with information on where to park. Review the campus map for parking locations near the Welcome Center and the building where you will be working. Additional information can be found on the Parking and Transportation Services website.

What should I bring to the Faculty/Staff Orientation?

You will be completing several forms related to employment and benefits. If you are non-academic staff member, an e-mail will be sent to you from Human Resources with several forms attached for you to complete; otherwise your hiring manager will provide you with the necessary forms.  You will need to bring identification documents such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, I-9, etc. You may also wish to bring your social security card and a copy of birth certificates for your dependents, if you wish to enroll them in your benefits.
