Pilot Program  Information

Part-time faculty may participate in the following voluntary benefit program offerings:

  • Dental insurance (100% employee paid)
  • Vision insurance (100% employee paid)
  • 403(b) Plan (Employee Contributions only - no employer match)
  • Dependent Tuition Benefits (25% tuition reduction)

Highlights

Dental rates have decreased by over 10% for 2015! This represents a significant savings for dental participants from the 2014 rates. Part-time faculty can select between two vision plan options, Basic and Enhanced. The dual option vision coverage provides WSU part-time faculty with two options to best meet their individual vision needs.

ENROLLMENT IN THE 403(b) RETIREMENT PLAN IS ONGOING.

Dependent Tuition Benefits (25% tuition reduction)

In any semester that an eligible member of the bargaining unit teaches, s/he will earn a 25% tuition reduction benefit that can be applied if a dependent of the member is attending WSU in that semester. This benefit will be limited to the number credit hours taught in that semester.
