Training. Seminars. Workshops. This is a WSU systems training portal that provides various learning opportunities mostly driven by WSU specific systems such as EPAF, Web Time Entry, I-9 eXpress, Cognos, Online Hiring System, University Orientation and other employee development program offerings through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Wellness Warriors. Access TSW by logging into Academica then click on Employee Resources > Other Resources > Training, Seminars, Workshops.


Accelerate is the newest employee development portal with thousands of training resources in information technology, desktop skills and workplace skills. Access Accelerate by logging into Academica then click on Employee Resources > Other Resources > Accelerate - Employee Development Tools.

oed logo The office of Organization & Employee Development (OED) offers consultation and assistance with many types of interventions such as training needs assessment, design and delivery, program evaluation, talent management, and performance improvement. In conjunction with various departments around campus, we offer eLearning in WSU system specific courses such as EPAF certification, Web Time Entry and more. Sponsored Program Administration (SPA) offers training on grant writing, as well as on how to use COS.com to search for funding, to network with other expert and to search for conferences in which to present papers. We assist in the organizing content-specialized seminars, such as the Nano@Wayne seminar series and BIO101: Introductory Topics for Collaborators. The Technology Resource Center is a convenient and friendly place for faculty and instructors to design and develop instructional experiences for the classroom and online teaching environments. Partners in this innovative center include the Office for Teaching and Learning, Computing and Information Technology and the University Library System. Wayne GIVES is a professional training and development program designed exclusively to support the efforts of Wayne State University's Division of Development and Alumni Affairs.
