The list below contains a brief description of existing training opportunities across campus. Check back as we continue to add resources!

Training, Seminars, Workshops (TSW)

This is a WSU training portal that provides various learning opportunities mostly driven by WSU-specific, in-person training such as University Orientation, employee development program offerings through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Wellness Warriors. Access TSW by logging into Academica then click on Employee Resources > Other Resources > Training, Seminars, Workshops.

Accelerate

This is an employee development portal with thousands of online training resources in information technology, desktop skills, and workplace skills. Access Accelerate by logging into Academica then click on Employee Resources > Other Resources > Accelerate - Employee Development Tools.  For more information, visit our Accelerate webpage.

Office of Teaching & Learning (OTL)

OTL provides support and development opportunities for teaching at WSU through a regular offering of workshops and events related to teaching and learning. For more information, visit the OTL website.

Sponsored Program Administration (SPA)

SPA offers training on grant writing, as well as on how to use COS.com to search for funding, network with other experts, and search for conferences in which to present papers. They assist in organizing content-specialized seminars, such as the Nano@Wayne seminar series and BIO101: Introductory Topics for Collaborators. Technology Resource Center (TRC)

This is a convenient and friendly place for faculty and instructors to design and develop instructional experiences for the classroom and online teaching environments. Partners in this innovative center include the Office for Teaching and Learning, Computing and Information Technology, and the University Library System. Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO)

The Office of Equal Opportunity offers courses such as sexual harassment prevention and awareness.

Office of International Students & Scholars

The Office of International Students and Scholars offers workshops in diversity and cultural awareness.

School of Medicine

The School of Medicine's Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development sponsors a web page with links to many developmental resources for faculty.
