As part of your initial learning goals with your manager, you’ll engage in required online, self-paced New Hire Training, designed to acclimate you to Wayne State University and reinforce an understanding of our values and core compliance topics. Whether navigating your onboarding or seeking a quick reference, this page serves as a central hub for training modules, relevant policies and key contacts to promote a safe, inclusive and productive environment. Should questions arise, please contact the appropriate office listed for each topic, and remember that our HR Consultants (HRCs) are always available to support you.

WSU Warriors are professionals who put the needs of the University ahead of our own personal interests. This 15-minute course, offered in partnership with our University Secretary & Executive Officer for the Board of Governors, helps individuals to be aware of the potential for conflicts of interest and ways to avoid them. - General Ethics in the Workplace
We’re committed to displaying the highest standards of ethical behavior as one way in which we live our WSU value of integrity. In this 19-minute course, shared in partnership with Internal Audit, learn more about ethical standards at work. Common themes include describing ethical behavior with monetary practices, explaining ethical behavior with colleagues, and identifying several guidelines for appropriate ethical behavior.

This 15-minute course, provided with Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) guidance, shares tactics cybercriminals use in real-life examples to illustrate how you can safeguard WSU data and comply with WSU policy.
