Employee Recognition Ceremony
The Employee Recognition Ceremony is a formal celebration that Human Resources hosts each fiscal year to celebrate and honor full time employees who have achieved milestone years of service, those who have retired from the university, and our Value Award winners.
Coming soon: The fiscal year 2024 ceremony will be held in November, 2025!
Years of Service Honorees (5 year milestones, from 10 - 55 years) receive:
- Invitation to ceremony
- Name printed in the ceremony program booklet and on online lists
- Years of Service certificate
- A special gift that corresponds to years of service. After the ceremony, catalogs will be sent to eligible employees to choose from a variety of awards. Orders may be placed anytime until the deadline specified.
Retirees receive:
- Invitation to ceremony
- Name printed in the ceremony program booklet and on online lists
- Retirees attending the ceremony will receive a certificate
- Retirees who do not attend the ceremony will receive a certificate via email after the ceremony
- A special gift. After the ceremony, catalogs will be sent to retirees to choose from a variety of awards. Orders may be placed anytime until the deadline specified.
Value Award Winners receive:
- Presentation of award prior to Employee Recognition Ceremony
- Invitation to ceremony
- Name printed in the ceremony program booklet and on online lists
- Featured on the Employee Recognition Week website & in daily emails during Employee Recognition Week
We encourage all schools, colleges and divisions to recognize and celebrate the milestones achieved by all employees in a way that each deems appropriate.
